Vesuvius

Vesuvius

The landscape we see today around Vesuvius is the result of great geological upheavals that affected the Piana Campana a few million years ago. Among the effects of these geologic events there is the birth of the volcano, which dates back to about 400,000 years ago. The geographical location of Mount Vesuvius, the fertile lands enriched in minerals from lavas, together with the splendor of the logos have led to the colonization of this area as early as a few centuries after the birth of Christ.
